# required_fields_missing

**HTTP status:** 422 (Unprocessable)

**Title:** Required fields missing

## Cause

The stage the case is moving to or entering requires fields that the case does not have yet. `param` names the first missing one.

## How to fix it

Set the fields named in `param` on the case, then repeat the request.

Set the parameter named below and send the request again.

Every error carries `requestId` and the `Request-Id` header. Send it when you write to support.
