# data_connector_invalid_response

**HTTP status:** 422 (Unprocessable)

**Title:** Data connector response is not valid

## Cause

Your connector answered, but an account card, a search answer or a view page does not follow lelemon-connector/v1. The `detail` lists the failing paths with the rule each breaks, never the values. The check endpoint reads the manifest only, so it can pass while a card fails.

## How to fix it

Fix the paths the detail lists in what your connector serves. To test a card before serving it, send it to the validate endpoint.

Call the endpoint named below first, then send the request again.

Endpoint: `POST /v2/data-connectors/format/validate`

Every error carries `requestId` and the `Request-Id` header. Send it when you write to support.
